About
Chance is a table, a set of dice and a coin, simulated rather than animated. Hold the table and they gather under your finger; drag and let go and they tumble, collide and settle, and whatever lands up is the number. Shake the phone and it becomes the box they are in. Nothing is predetermined, nothing is nudged, and no result is chosen before the dice stop.
Every die and coin is a rigid body under real gravity at real scale, so a 16mm d6 falls for as long as a 16mm d6 falls, bounces off the ones beside it, and reports the face that ends up on top. Fairness is measured, not asserted: every die type is checked against a flat distribution with chi-square testing over tens of thousands of simulated rolls, separately for each table surface.
Shake Mode turns the phone into the box: shake it and the dice tumble, tilt it and they slide to the low edge. The seven surfaces (wood, three colours of baize, leather, marble and a plain void) each bounce, roll and sound like the material they are.
